My Coding Journey March 17, 2020
The date on top right would be the date that I uploaded my first video ever to my YouTube Channel.
My name is Jim, its been a long time I wanted to shout my word about how to learn coding by self learning. Currently I am working as a DevOps Engineer at Red Hat, and on my other free time I teach free content related to Software and Web Development and as well as DevOps Technologies.
I think the main goal I created this channel is to prove that you should not be doubtful and stressed about starting programming, and the large community that grows as the time goes, will allow you to learn anything you want for free. It is also not less important for myself, to being one of many that deliver quality content about programming, because of their passion and willpower to teach others.
My entire journey with computers started at 2015, I wanted to learn a programming language so bad and like many, I did not know where to start. I heard rumors at high school that some people learn Visual Basic and that is a nice programming language. Unfortunately I didn't know that this programming language was quite outdated, but I was able to learn the basic elements that are common in any programming language like variables, data types, if statements and loops.
Then for the next years I took step a side from programming, and focused on System and Networking. And I felt enough comfortable to search for Dev Ops jobs at 2018, since I gained a lot of knowledge on how Servers work, plus I was decent in programming. Each job since then was a huge part and opportunity for me to learn and develop myself.
Currently I am focusing on giving back to community by teaching Computer and Tech related topics and also spread the motivation to learn. I hope to see you around in one of my videos.
